Las Delicias Waterfall

Location: Ciales

Getting there: From San Juan, drive 1 hour 45 minutes to the center of the island in the municipality of Ciales. Park on the side of the road near the pin. You’ll see a trail on the side of the road. There are two waterfalls on the Cialitos River very close to the road. Once you get to the second waterfall (pictured above), you can find a trail near it (though the trailhead is not obvious) that leads to another waterfall. I have not been to it yet, but I have heard that it is beautiful.

Things to do: Take it in – These waterfalls look like a stereotypical screensaver. They’re surrounded by lush greenery. Get in the water – The water is rather cold but certainly worth getting in and standing under the falls.

Heads up: The parking spots are right next to the highway, but this road is not very busy.
