Isla Verde Beach (West)

Location: San Juan

Getting there: Located right next to the San Juan airport, you could touch down at 10:00am and be on the beach before 10:30am. Park anywhere you can find. Somehow we always pay for parking at this Burger King.

Things to do: Relax in the shallows – There are often small waves in the shallows, but that doesn’t stop too many people from getting in. Walk around – This beach is always alive with tourists and locals alike enjoying the day. There are nearby restaurants all around and vendors walking down the beach selling things.

Heads up: This is easily one of the most popular beaches in Puerto Rico. Plan on it being busy. There isn’t a lot of natural shade, but there are vendors who rent beach chairs and umbrellas.
