condado Beach

Condado Beach, San Juan
1/5

Location: San Juan

Getting there: There are paid parking lots all over. I parked in this lot and walked there, though it’s certainly not the closest parking lot. This lot is much closer.

Things to do: Lay out – There are umbrellas and chairs for rent (or possibly just for hotels guests?), and natural shade available depending on the time of day. Get in the water – You can get in the water, but shore break waves are common year-round.

Heads up: I hate the parking lot I parked in, it’s given me trouble both times I have parked there. Once it just stopped working for anyone besides those that had some card to scan (presumably for those that work nearby?). So me and some others were stranded in the lot and had to call a number for someone to come save us. I got tired of waiting and followed someone out that swiped a card to open the gate. The next time, the machine that scans your ticket and card could not read my credit card. Luckily I had some cash in the car or I would have been in trouble.

  • Close to many other things.
  • Parking costs money.
  • Windy.
  • Shore break waves.
